COMMENT:

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago(other than tobacco and liquor), and our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids. What happened? Learn how to take away all these taxes with the FairTax plan. Register and tell your representative you don’t want to pay these taxes anymore!

A little tongue-in-cheek, but we also had slavery as well, so it wasn’t exactly the good ‘ol days for us black people :)

Good call! :) Yeah, I know some things 100 years ago wasn’t always the best of times, but taxes were easier.

Frank, just think though, if we did still have slavery there would probably be a slave owners tax, and i’m sure also a tax for being a slave (in the spirit of how taxes are named they would call that the emancipation tax i’m sure), and I wouldn’t even want to think of what the deductions would be :)
